National Video Baltimore Wins HGTV Contest Story on WBAL TV (2.05 min) - Channel 11 News story about Rebuilding Together Baltimore winning the HGTV Change the World, Start at Home contest. Volunteers will complete several community revitalization projects in the Pen Lucy neighborhood of Northeast Baltimore City. The work will take place during April 2008 and it will be televised on a special Home and Garden Television national broadcast.

National Video Rebuilding Together Baltimore TSU Corporate Video Project (9.47 min) - Produced in 2004 by three students enrolled in the Towson University, Department of Electronic Media & Film, Corporate Video class, this video features volunteers from Wal-Mart in Dundalk as they repair the home of a single mother; members of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) refurbishing a bathroom and a kitchen, installing grab bars, improving lighting, and building a technology center at COIL Southwest Senior Center in Baltimore; MECU volunteers working on National Rebuilding Day and discussing the benefits of the program; Bonnie Bessor, our Executive Director; past RT National President Patty Johnson; RTB Board members; and other Rebuilding Together Baltimore volunteers. Great work Brendan, Josh, and Daunte -- hope you earned an "A" in the class.

Comcast & Rebuilding Together Baltimore (0.33 min) - A public service message produced by Comcast featuring their involvement with our annual Rebuilding Day. Thank you to Ron and all the other folks at Comcast who have helped "patch up, fix up, paint up, and clear out" homes in Baltimore City.

Calvert Hall Father Son Club (0.47 min) - Short news clip, courtesy of Fox 45 in Baltimore, featuring one of the 14th annual Rebuilding Day community projects the men of Calvert Hall College High School completed in 2003. In addition to building this "elderly accessible" garden planter on a vacant city lot, they planted daylilies and ivy in tree planters along the street, spread mulch, and helped retired members of the community plant flowers and vegetables. Thanks guys for working outside in the rain all day!

A very compelling story that showcases the magnitude of our impact and the importance of our work.

Christmas in April Baltimore Video (5.27 min) - Circa 1995, this video features volunteer home repair work in Baltimore City prior to our name change. Watch carefully and you will see then Mayor Kurt Schmoke and the first women elected President of the Baltimore City Council, Mary Pat Clarke, among the thousands of volunteers.

Youth Assisting Seniors (2.24 min) - Rebuilding Together Peninsula, Redwood City, CA Code Enforcement Department, and students from Junipero Serra High School pitch in to assist a disabled resident with a landscape makeover.

Rebuilding Together 2006 (4.50 min) - Volunteers from SJCCC Cantonese and Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church in Sunnyvale, California helping an 84-year-old woman who lives with her granddaughter in the home she has occupied for more than 60 years -- we don't know what they're saying, but much is being accomplished and they appear to be having a lot of fun.
