Rebuilding Our Web Site - February 2007 - Computer technology advances quickly, and though our Web site has been updated on a regular basis to keep-up with competing browser "standards" while adding new content, it has become difficult to maintain. It is time to remove the temporary patches, reorganize everything, and create a larger site structure to better allow for future expansion. So, we are "rebuilding" our entire Web site from the ground up. Content is being validated using HTML 4.01 specifications. Page style, layout and presentation are accomplished using CSS 2.1 standards. The goal is to incorporate current World Wide Web Consortium recommendations in order to provide content that is accessible to all viewers, including those with disabilities requiring the use of screen readers, screen magnifiers, and voice recognition software.
