HGTV week in Baltimore...
More pictures and videos will be added every day this week!
Change the World. Start at Home
We are very excited to be working with HGTV, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the Natural Resources Defense Council to repair and revitalize the Pen Lucy and Waverly neighborhoods in Baltimore, Maryland.
Taniya Nayak, designer and host from HGTV's Designed to Sell, joined by the HGTV production crew, John, Scott, Ethan and Brian, arrived in town on Monday, April 28th, 2008 to film the initial stages of each project. They will return on Friday for a final wrap-up and review of the week's work — hopefully the weather will be a little drier ;-)
Mayor Sheila Dixon, City Council President Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, and City Councilwoman Mary Pat Clarke each attended the kick-off ceremony, where they praised the project and thanked all of the participants for their role in revitalizing the community and improving the lives of the people who live there.
The Flash® Slideshow application on this page contains "behind-the-scenes" pictures and short videos featuring some of the amazingly enthusiastic volunteers, generous sponsors, and interesting events during HGTV's Change the World Start at Home week in Baltimore. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this possible!
