HGTV week in Baltimore...
Change the World. Start at Home
We are very excited to be working with HGTV, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the Natural Resources Defense Council to repair and revitalize the Pen Lucy and Waverly neighborhoods in Baltimore, Maryland.
Taniya Nayak, designer and host from HGTV's Designed to Sell, joined by the HGTV production crew, John, Scott, Ethan and Brian, arrived in town on Monday, April 28th, 2008 to film the initial stages of each project. The film crew returned on Friday, May 2nd for a final wrap-up and review of the week's work.
Mayor Sheila Dixon, City Council President Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, and City Councilwoman Mary Pat Clarke each attended the kick-off ceremony, where they praised the project and thanked all of the participants for their role in revitalizing the community and improving the lives of the people who live there.
