Small Star Colgate Community in 2012 - The Colgate area of Baltimore County has been chosen as one of the two communities where work will take place on our next Rebuilding Day, Saturday, April 28, 2012. Read an article in The Dundalk Eagle about the selection process.

Small Star Thank You Honeywell - On October 15th, Rebuilding Together Baltimore partnered with volunteers from Honeywell to spruce up a nonprofit facility that provides transitional housing for women and their children. HoneywellVolunteers from INNterim, Morgan State University, the College of Notre Dame, Johns Hopkins University, and AmeriCorps NCCC joined Honeywell volunteers to complete repairs that positively impacted the health and well-being of the residents of this facility. Repairs included: painting, landscaping, debris removal, interior cosmetic repairs, electrical repairs, plumbing and bathroom repairs, and much more. It was a fantastic and hugely successful project. Many thanks to everyone who contributed their time to make this project happen and to Honeywell for their sponsorship! (view a slide show of the event)

Small Star We've Moved from Hampden into larger office space in the Hamilton neighborhood. It will take a little while for us to update our new address throughout the Web site, but our contact page has has more information.

Small Star Rebuilding Day 2011 was a great success! Many thanks to all our fabulous volunteers and generous sponsors who made it possible. We worked on a total of 40 sites on Rebuilding Day, 25 homes and 15 community beautification projects! Small Star Rebuilding Day 2008 - Saturday, April 26th, was National Rebuilding Day, when Rebuilding Together affiliates in more than 200 cities and towns across America work to preserve affordable home-ownership and revitalize older communities. In the Baltimore area, our target neighborhoods were Pen Lucy in the City and Turner Station in the County. More than 1,000 amazing volunteers, including Derrick Mason of the Baltimore Ravens, repaired more than 40 homes and completed more than a dozen community projects during this annual event. THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS & SPONSORS!

Small Star Baltimore Wins HGTV Contest - Thanks to your votes, Baltimore has been selected as one of five winning cities whose volunteer projects will be televised later this year. Rebuilding Together, Home & Garden Television, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the Natural Resources Defense Council have teamed up for the HGTV Change the World Start at Home campaign.
